New appointment system for passport applications submitted at the Norwegian Embassy in Canberra

Applications for passports will be received at the Embassy in Canberra by appointment only. Please allow a minimum of 30 minutes processing time per applicant.

Even if the embassy will make all endeavours to carry out the agreed biometric capture, unforeseen technical problems may arise. The embassy cannot be held responsible for possible disadvantages this may cause.

• Please write “appointment request” in the subject line

• Please provide your full name

• Please provide 3 preferred appointment times. The Embassy will seek to accommodate requests but is unable to guarantee that all requests can be met.

 • The Embassy will send you a confirmation email with your scheduled appointment time

• Please bring the confirmation email with you to your appointment.

If you are unable to access the Internet you may call +61 2 6273 3444 between 10-12 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday to schedule an appointment. The Embassy will confirm your appointment by mail. Please allow at least one week’s notice for appointments.

Appointment times

Passport applications will be accepted by appointment at the Embassy in Canberra on Monday and Tuesday, between 9:30 am - 11:00 am and 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm. Before emailing or calling the Embassy to make an appointment, please ensure that all necessary supporting documentation is available. Please check the passport requirements on the Embassy’s website www.norway.org.au. If all requirements are not met at the time of application the application will be refused.
