The Embassy was delighted to host the Norwegian Embassy Annual Business seminar, in Sydney this year in collaboration with the European Australian Business Council. The focus for this year was on the Global Economic Outlook and Implications for Business in Australia.
Eminent speakers included;

Richard J Owen, Chairman, ExxonMobil Australia, who presented the audience with the key trends of global energy and supply. ‘The outlook for energy: a view to 2024’ report is freely available here.
Jane Livesey, Managing Director Technology Group of Accenture Australia who discussed the vital role of innovation and company vision in our changing economic climate. A point she made clear by indicating that 52% of the fortune 500 companies in the year 2000 now no longer exist (through merges, buyouts or collapses).
