ScanArt 2008

13/10/2008 // The Association of Norwegian Students Abroad is currently holding the fourth annual ScanArt exhibition in Melbourne. Showcasing some of the best works of Scandinavian creative students in Australia, the exhibition is a chance to get a taste of Nordic art and culture.

Australia is a country full of creative stimuli. The spectacular nature coupled with a multicultural and hospitable population has for years made Australia a popular choice among Scandinavian creative students in search of adventure and artistic inspiration.

ScanArt was launched four years ago by the Association of Norwegian Students Abroad (ANSA) to showcase the creative results of this meeting between Australian and Scandinavian culture and identity. The 2008 exhibition features the best works of 14 promising young artists from Norway and Sweden. The exhibitors are handpicked by jury and represents Australian education institutions in Adelaide, Byron Bay, Perth and Melbourne.

ScanArt 2008 is held in the brand new C3 art space in the idyllic Abbotsford Convent in Collingwood, Melbourne. The exhibition is open until October 19.
