The Environmental Film Festival Australia

Last updated: 28.08.2015 //

The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Canberra is proud to sponsor this year’s Environmental Film Festival Australia.

In 2010, the festival first saw the light of day in Melbourne with a vision to inform, engage and inspire on the environmental issues that affect us today. Since then the festival has expanded, and this year it includes both Hobart and Canberra.

The non-profit organization sets out to challenge the way people think about the natural world. The festival uses the power of film, music and debate to unite filmmakers, environmentalists, politicians, scientists, experts, and the broader public in their desire to actively engage in issues that affect all of our futures.

In Canberra, the festival will be hosted at Palace Electric Cinemas in partnership with the Royal Norwegian Embassy. Tickets are available for Saturday 12th of September, with the screening of “Thule Tuvalu” followed by a panel Q&A. The Norwegian Ambassador, Unni Kløvstad, will be giving the opening speech.
