Due to mandatory biometric data capture, all passports for adults and children over 12 must be applied for in person at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Canberra. Even if the Embassy will make all endeavours to carry out the agreed biometric capture, unforeseen technical problems may arise. The Embassy cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience, financial or otherwise, this may cause. Read more

Loss of passport must be reported to the local police immediately. In addition, if the loss occurs outside Norway, the loss must also be reported to the nearest Norwegian Embassy or Consulate. Read more
