The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Canberra represents the Norwegian Government in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Cook Islands and Tonga.
Within this area it is the task of the Embassy to promote Norwegian interests and to develop the good relations that exist between Norway and the Governments and people of these countries. Another important task for the Embassy is to offer consular assistance to Norwegians.
On this web-site you will find information useful both to people seeking information about Norway and for people with queries on Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Cook Islands or Tonga.
There are twelve Norwegian honorary consulates in the Embassy's area (seven in Australia, three in New Zealand, one in Fiji and one in Papua New Guinea) that can assist in consular matters. You will find their contact details on a link to the right.
